The American band, formed in 1985, have sold more than 12 million records worldwide and will make their Sonisphere debut as Sunday’s headline act on the Saturn stage.

Elsewhere at the festival you can also find supergroup Devil You Know, featuring former Killswitch Engage frontman Howard Jones, Francesco Artusato (All Shall Perish), John Sankey (Devolved/ ex Divine Heresy, Fear Factory) and Ryan Wombacher (Bleeding Through).

Yashin, The Cadillac Three, Glamour Of The Kill, Palm Reader, Broken Hands, Fort Hope, The One Hundred and Collibus complete the names in the Sonisphere announcement today.

Sonisphere Festival takes place at Knebworth Park, near Stevenage, Hertfordshire from 4-6 July 2014.

Limp Bizkit, Ghost, Gojira, Alice In Chains, Mastodon and Slayer have all been announced previously for the Sonisphere 2014 line-up, which also includes the three previously announced headliners: Metallica, Iron Maiden and The Prodigy.

Sonisphere Festival tickets are on sale now, priced at £170 plus a £10 booking fee for a weekend ticket without camping. A weekend ticket with camping is £205, plus a £10 booking fee. A deposit scheme is also running from now until April, meaning fans are able to reserve their tickets for an initial payment of just £50.
