The three Followill brothers and their cousin Matthew will top the Sunday night slot, returning to the island festival for the first time since 2011. Last year their sixth studio album, 'Mechanical Bull', topped the UK album charts and spawned three singles, including 'Supersoaker' and 'Wait For Me'.

Now joining Kings Of Leon on the Isle Of Wight Festival 2014 line-up are a raft of newly announced acts, which include Travis, The Horrors, Clean Bandit, The Specials, John Newman, Chloe Howl and The Selecter.

Duke Dumont, Nina Nesbitt, The Strypes, The Polyphonic Spree, Dappy, Lawson, The Vamps, Gorgon City, From the Jam, Neon Jungle, Deap Vally, JULY TALK, The Move, Swim Deep and Peace have also been announced by festival organisers to play over the four day festival this June.

The announcement comes just days after organisers revealed Red Hot Chili Peppers were to headline the Saturday (June 14) night of the festival - their only show in UK & Ireland of 2014. Biffy Clyro, Calvin Harris and Rudimental were all previously  announced to play the event, which this year celebrates its 12th anniversary.

Isle Of Wight Festival 2014 takes place from 12-15 June at Seaclose Park, Newport on the island.
