Mercury Prize nominees Metronomy, due to release their fourth studio album 'Love Letters' on March 10, will headline the East-London based festival on Saturday June 7th. Metronomy last played Field Day in 2012 and will play the festival next year after a 12 date UK tour in April which takes in stops from the Glasgow ABC to the Portsmouth Pyramids Centre.

Joining Metronomy in the announcement is a raft of new acts for the Field Day line-up, including Warpaint, The Temper Trap, George Fitzgerald, Jon Hopkins, Omar Souleyman, Daniel Avery and Sky Ferreira.

Danny Brown, Dusky, Innervisions: Dixon & Ame, James Holden (live), Jessy Lanza, John Wizards, Oneohtrix Point Never and Seun Kuti & Fela's Egypt 80 have also been announced to play the first day of the two day event.

Pixies were previously announced to headline the Sunday (June 8) of the newly expanded two day festival, which will remain at its current East London site: Victoria Park, Hackney.

Doors open to the festival, still subject to license, at 12pm each day and the curfew is 10:45pm. The event is for those aged 18 years and older.

There are a very limited number of early bird tickets for Field Day on Sunday June 8th, priced at £43.50, which includes a £5 booking fee.
