Arctic Monkeys to headline Optimus Alive 2014

The Sheffield Monkeys will headline the Portuguese festival on July 10, topping the bill on the first day of the three day festival.

Optimus Alive will take place from 10-12 July at Passeio Marítimo de Algés, Lisbon, Portugal and feature more than 90 acts across five stages.

Kings of Leon and Depeche Mode were amongst the acts who played at Optimus Alive in 2013. The festival was launched in 2007 and now attracts approximately 55,000 people each year. Previous Optimus Alive acts include Pearl Jam, Beastie Boys, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Rage Against the Machine, Metallica and Coldplay. The festival site is situated a mere 5 miles from the bustling capital city Lisbon, a 5 minute drive or 15 minutes away by public transport.

Optimus Alive tickets are on sale now. Daily tickets are priced at £50.16, including booking fee. Three day tickets (without camping) are priced at £99.33 with booking fee and a three day ticket with camping is £114.51, also with booking fee included.
