Festival goers heading to Y-Not in Derbyshire this weekend won't see the heatwave currently taking over the UK, but instead showers and sunny spells across all three days - a cool climate perfect for headliners The Darkness and The Cribs to take to the stage.

Friday will see highs of 22°C with a chance of heavy rain in the morning, but the afternoon should bring sun in time for The Horrors, although there's still a chance of heavy showers in the evening. The 1975 will perform to a dryer crowd on Saturday, although the evening may bring rain when Deaf Havana headline The Quarry Stage. Sunday will see much of the same with highs of 20°C across both days and light showers for performances from We Are The Ocean and Dry The River in the evening.

Y-Not Festival 2013 has sold out.

Camp Bestival down in rural Dorset is set to be a cool and cloudy weekend.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday will all see temperatures peaking at 17°C and lows of 15°C. The weekend will be blighted by heavy cloud cover with only brief sunny spells as the sun manages to break through here and there over the course of the weekend. Festival-goers will be looking forward to a warm and dry Camp Bestival, with a gentle breeze as they are near the coast. Campers be warned that Sunday night will see heavy rainfall from around 22:00 which won’t stop until midday Monday.

Happy Mondays, Hot Chip and Kool and the Gang are all set to play the family orientated festival, which will also feature more child friendly performances from the likes of Mr Tumble, Shrek the Musical and Rolf Harris.
