Chief Isle of Wight Fesival organiser John Giddings has revealed in an interview this weekend that he already has a handful of targets for the 2014 edition of the festival next June.

Giddings name dropped Blur, Fleetwood Mac and Red Hot Chili Peppers as potential headliners he'd love to see playing the bill next year whilst in conversation with Ben Jones on Friday. He said: "I don't know who's going to be headlining. Maybe Fleetwood Mac, Blur, Red Hot Chili Peppers, who else could we get?"

It's no secret that the music impresario, head of Solo UK, has been trying to secure Blur for a couple of years and in another interview over the weekend he reiterated those targets for 2013, adding Arctic Monkeys and Foo Fighters to the list.

Isle of Wight Festival 2013 took place at Seaclose Park, Newport from 13-16 June and featured headline performances from The Stone Roses, The Killers and Bon Jovi.
