Kendal Calling has announced a three year partnership with Natural Event, the company behind the popular Pootopia loos. From this year on all toilets on the camp ground will be the composting loos that have been present in the past few years, except they are now free to use.

Kendal Calling Promoter Andy Smith made this statement: “Kendal Calling is our home and  we need to feel proud of every aspect of it. We've listened to people’s feedback and scratched our heads to come up with a solution that gives us facilities to be proud of.”

There is only one rule you need remember when the moment for the movement has passed, that is the 'One Cup cover up' rule. Take one cup of saw dust to cover the deposit you just made and let time, mother nature and worms take care of your business.

So for the foreseeable future not only can you enjoy your number twos in fresh, clean and comfortable toilets, but also you can be safe in the knowledge they are also totally eco friendly.

Kendal Calling takes place in the heart of the beautiful Lake District, at Lowther Deer Park from 26-28 July and this year's line-up includes Basement Jaxx, Primal Scream, The Charlatans, Public Enemy, Seasick Steve, Johnny Marr, The D.O.T, I Am Kloot and Mystery Jets, amongst many others.

Kendal Calling tickets are priced at just £115 for a three day ticket with camping.
