Parklife Weekender

Those of you headed to Manchester this weekend for The Parlife Weekender are to be blessed with beautiful weather. Lots of sun is expected over the weekend with highs around 20°C at 16:00, dropping to around 15°C in the late evening for the headliners. Little cloud cover and minimal wind is expected for both days so take your sunblock and be ready to dance furiously in the blistering sun to acts such as Delphic and Iggy Azalea, then as the sun starts to set you can enjoy a refreshing cool down and a dance to headliners Example and Plan B.

The Stone Roses @ Finsbury Park, London

If you were lucky enough to get tickets to see The Stone Roses play Finsbury Park this weekend it looks like the sun is smiling on your decision. Friday starts cloudy before clearing by about ten o'clock, temperatures peak at around 22°C at four o'clock, just in time for admission. From then on the temperature will slowly drop to about 18°C by the time The Stone Roses take to the stage at 20:40. No clouds in sight so it should be hot and sunny for Rudimental and The Courteneers developing into a warm summer evening to enjoy Dizzee Rascal and The Stone Roses.

Not wanting to dissapoint Miles Kane, Johnny Marr or Public Image Ltd fans, the weather looks set to do much the same for the Saturday show, Only difference being the peak only getting up to around 19°C and the evening dropping to 17°C.

RockNess

Now whilst you inevitably envisage Scotland as a cold and rainy destination, this will not be the case this weekend for all of you heading up for RockNess. Friday offers the best chance to come home with a tan, or if precaution isn't taken the very Scottish souvenier of a bright red sunburn, little to no cloud cover and highs of 19°C dropping to around 13°C at 22:00. This means those of you planning to enjoy Basement Jaxx, The Maccabees or Ellie Goulding will do so in near perfect summer weather.

Saturday and Sunday see the entry of just a little more cloud cover. Tempatures stay much the same but the clouds will offer a little refuge from the suns blazing gaze. Saturday and Sunday's headliners Example and Plan B will again take to the stage after a beautiful day just as it cools down to around 13°C and everyone is ready to party into the summers night.

Don't be fooled by the high tempatures in the day, it is still Scotland and campers be warned it does drop back down to around 8°C in the nights so still bring your sleeping bags and coats are still a must for any night owls.

All in all if you are going to a festival or outdoor gig this weekend Apollo is truly shining his favour down on you my friend. Please do pack sunscreen and bring lots of water, it's going to be a beautiful party!
