The two new Main Stage additions come in the shape of Don Broco, who play Reading Festival on Sunday August 25 and Leeds on Friday August 23, then The Pretty Reckless, who play Reading Festival on Friday August 23 and Leeds Festival on Saturday August 24.

Five new acts join the NME/Radio 1 tent line-up, including returning Norfolk rock outfit Deaf Havana and floppy haired pop-rock fanatic Darwin Deez.

A raft of Lock Up Stage additions include ska and raggae-rock stalwarts Sonic Boom Six, hotly-tipped punk newcomers Gnarwolves and industrial rock legends Filter, who had a hit single back in 2000 with 'Take A Picture'.

The Festival Republic Stage have seen 11 acts join the ranks of its line-up, including Liverpudlian easy-vibe rocker Dan Croll, electro duo Mount Kimbie and current post-punk darlings Savages.

Reading Festival 2013 takes place in Richfield Avenue, Reading on 23-25 August.

Leeds Festival 2013 takes place in Bramham Park, Wetherby, Leeds from 23-25 August.

Eminem, Biffy Clyro and Green Day have previously been announced to headline both the twinned festival events and their expanded eight stage line-up in 2013 also features System Of A Down, Chase & Status, Skrillex, Phoenix, Jake Bugg, Major Lazer and the returning Nine Inch Nails.

Last week an exhaustive Alternative Stage line-up was announced, including Russell Kane, Andrew O’Neill and Mark Thomas.

Reading Festival weekend tickets and Leeds Festival weekend tickets are available now, priced at £202.50 plus a £8 booking fee. Day tickets are available for £90 plus a £7 booking fee.

Additional to these tickets, early entry tickets are available for £15.

You can also purchase Reading Festival tickets at face value, without booking fee, in cash at the Reading venue, The Hexagon and Leeds Festival tickets at the Leeds Visitor Centre. Proof of ID and address will be required at the time of purchase and a limit of two tickets per household will be enforced.

Children 12 and under are admitted free but must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult.
