Soul singer and songwriter Bobby Womack amassed huge critical acclaim with his 2012 comeback album, 'The Bravest Man In The Universe', and will play a hit-ladden set covering his nearly five decades in the business. The coveted Sunday afternoon slot has previously been occupied with performances from the likes of Joanna Newsom, Thom Yorke, Tom Jones and Rufus Wainwright.

Multilingual maverick Eddie Izzard has also been newly added to the comedy line-up that already features the likes of Dylan Moran, Daniel Kitson and Tim Key. 2013 marks Izzard’s return to the live comedy circuit with 'Force Majeure', his first arena-size touring show in years, currently selling out venues across the globe.


Ventriloquist Nina Conti, Richard Herring, Rubberbandits, Birthday Girls and So On And So Forth have also been newly confirmed for the Comedy Arena at Latitude 2013.

Elsewhere the i Arena sees the newcomers, three-piece DIIV, Deptford Goth, Torres and Manchester four-piece M O N E Y all newly billed. On The Lake Stage you will now be able to catch Danish electronica star , Wolf Alice and Coves.

Elsewhere on the site you can find Sadler's Well presenting BalletBoyz: the TALENT 2013, ten of the finest young dancers perform Liam Scarlett’s Serpent and Russell Maliphant's Fallen, two energetic and explosive pieces, accompanied by music and film.

In the Film & Music arena you can catch Svengali, the full-length film based on the cult YouTube series from 2011, which stars Martin Freeman and Vicky McCLure. English filmmaker Adam Curtis will also interview Alan Moore and Mitch Jenkins about the short film, Jimmy’s End and the journey from the concept to a finished product.

Kraftwerk, Foals and Bloc Party have previously been announced to headline the three day event in Suffolk, with much of the line-up already formally announced. Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Grizzly Bear, The Maccabees, Jessie Ware and Alt-J will als play 35,000 capacity music and arts festival, which will feature more than 15 stages and arenas, playing host to over 500 live acts.

Latitude Festival 2013 takes place from Thursday 18 July - Sunday 21 July at Henham Park, Southwold, Suffolk and enters a new partnership with BBC Radio 6 Music in 2013 as the station brand their sound and symbol to the second stage.

Latitude Festival tickets are available now, subject to booking fees and are priced as follows:

Weekend adult tickets - £182.50 and £8 booking fee
Weekend accompanied teen ticket (13-15 years) - £132.50 and £8 booking fee
Weekend child (5-12 years) tickets - £5 and £1.50 booking fee
Adult day tickets Fri, Sat, Sun - £77.50 and £7 booking fee
Child (5-12 years) day tickets Fri, Sat, Sun - £5 and £1.50 booking fee
Campervan Permit - £40.80
Locker - £16

Children aged 0-4 are free with a full paying adult and do not need to be registered. Children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. There are a limited number of teen tickets available for those aged 13-15 years. Teen tickets can only be purchased when buying an adult ticket.Teen ticket holders MUST be accompanied by and adult over 18 years.
