Formed in London in 1989 from the remanence of Terraplane, Thunder would open the 1990 Monsters of Rock festival at Donington Park and reach Number Two with their 1992 album 'Laughing on Judgement Day'. Since then they've split and reformed a number of times, each time with slightly different line-ups, and this year will make a return to Donington Park on Saturday June 14 for Download Festival 2013.

Essex four-piece We Are The Ocean headline the Jagermeister Stage along with other newcomer Devin Townsend, who will play a rare acoustic show.

Hardcore Norwegian outfit Kvelertak join the Pepsi Max Stage line-up, sandwiched between Asian rockers CHTHONIC & The Oriental Orchestra and fellow scandinavian rockers The Hives, who headline the stage on Saturday night (June 14).

Zico Chain, Black Command, The Wild Lies, Black Moth, Page 44, Wounds and The Howling have also all been newly added to the Download Festival line-up.

Slipknot, Iron Maiden and Rammstein have already been announced to headline the three day event, which takes place from 14-16 June at Donington Park, Leicestershire.
