69-year-old Bobby Womack has become a iconic figure in the US R&B and soul scene, with a great vault of material, including the singles 'Lookin' For a Love', 'Woman's Gotta Have It' and 'Across 110th Street'.

The appearance closing the final night on the West Holts stage, a stage that typically features alternative and world music, will be Womack's only UK festival appearance of the year.

Womack will be joined by his US live band for a retrospective set pulling from nearly five decades in the business. His set will also feature The Bravest Band (featuring Damon Albarn and Richard Russell) playing songs from his 27th studio album, 'The Bravest Man In The Universe', which was his first release to contain original material since 1994 and produced by Damon Albarn and Richard Russell, who also appeared.

Bobby Womack joins Chic ft Nile Rogers, Public Enemy, Major Lazer, The Weeknd and Seasick Steve, amongst others, on the West Holts Stage.

Recently the Acoustic Stage line-up had new additions with the Zac Brown Band, Gypsy Queens, Steve Forbert, The Riptide Movement, Rainy Boy Sleep, Jake Bugg, Lucy Ward, Joel Rafael, London Community Gospel Choir, Deacon Blue's Ricky Ross, Blues Boy Dan, Seth Lakeman, Jack Savoretti, and the Bootleg Beatles headlining the Saturday night.
