The 29-year-old Action Bronson, born Arian Asllani, was performing on April 20 at the second of two Coachella Festival events, held over consecutive weekends when the incident happened. The bearded Bronson, due to release his third studio album 'Saab Stories' through Warner later this year, was carrying a giant white plastic garbage bag full of the bottles and threw them out one at a time when someone came onstage and told him   to stop, reports KROQ.

It was at this point Bronson reportedly threw the whole trash bag full of the alleged weed bottles into the audience. “Now you mother***ers can go get high!” he announced, and said: “I’m gonna get in trouble.

Coachella punters claimed to have caught bottles containing a variation of marijuana called “Thunder Kitty”. The rapper was also celebrating his daughter's birthday and was dressed in an airbrushed shirt, sourced from a carnival vendor, that said “Happy Birthday Hannah” on the front and “My Baby Grown” on the back.

Coachella Festival has a strict no drugs policy and Medical Marijuana Cards are not valid on site.

Coachella Festival 2013 has featured headline performances from The Stone Roses, Phoenix, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Blur, who controversially swapped with The Stone Roses to headline the second of the two events after the former had a lukewarm reaction.
