The Rolling Stones to play Hyde Park show in 2013

Tickets on sale today for Rolling Stones British Summer Time gig

It will be the first time the band, who also headline Glastonbury Festival this year, have played the London park in 44 years.

Support for the gig will come from The Vaccines, The Temper Trap, Gary Clark Jr and King Charles, plus Palma Violets, Tribes, The Boxer Rebellion and more across four stages.


Speaking about the show, Mick Jagger said: “We had such a great time playing the five concerts last year, we want to keep it going! Hyde Park holds such great memories for us and we can’t think of anywhere better to perform to our UK fans this summer.”

Rolling Stones in Hyde Park tickets go on general sale 9am on Friday April 5.

Barclaycard Unwind customers will be able to purchase tickets from 3pm today (Wednesday April 3).

Prices are yet to be announced. 

The Rolling Stones have also announced a US tour with dates in Los Angeles, Oakland, San Jose, Las Vegas, Anaheim, Toronto, Chicago, Boston and Philadelphia.

Bon Jovi has already been confirmed for a British Summer Time show on Friday July 5.

During British Summer Time, each live music weekend will be linked by a midweek programme of diverse entertainment, accessible for all to enjoy. From Monday to Thursday, the entire Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park site will give visitors the chance to get involved with smaller, more intimate events offering film, music, literature, sport and a specific family day.
