Beach Break Live gets a new life in Newquay

The summer festival will move from its previous home in Pembrey Country Park, Carmarthenshire, South Wales to the coastal town of Newquay, Cornwall.

Moving from the greenfield site, the festival will now take over the coastal town from 20-24 June and make use of more than 30 venues to host secret sets in greasy spoons, DJ sets in local clubs, hidden rooftop raves, beach discos, boat parties and much more. There will still be extreme sports as Beach Break Live host competitions in kitesurfing, surfing, wakeboarding and windsurfing on every day of the festival along with taster sessions, rider clinics and pro demos,

The all new Main Stage on Fistral Beach, Newquay will see headline sets from Brit nominee Jake Bugg, rising grime artist Devlin, and Sound of 2013 duo Alunageorge. Alongside them Lucy Rose, Foreign Beggars, Lulu James and Dub Pistols will also feature on the seaside stage.

In the town Hospitality will bring its usual mayhem to the decks with High Contrast, David Rodigan, Danny Byrd, Nu:Logic, Metrik and Wrec & Dynamite MC.

Rinse FM are taking over their own stage, with sets from Skream & Sgt Pokes, Eats Everything, Jackmaster and Roska.

Digital Soundboy will welcome Shy FX, Breakage, B-Traits, Dismantle and many more to be announced.

Across the four day festival there are plenty of other acts confirmed, including Will & The People, Scratch Perverts, The Nextmen, Imperial Leisure, Emily & The Woods and DJ Format. More than 300 acts will play in over 30 venues at the festival, with more to be announced shortly.

Beach Break Live tickets start from just £20 for a day pass and £40 for a weekend pass, which gets you a wristband covering access to more than 20 venues on the beach and in the centre of Newquay town.

Beach Break Live golden tickets include accommodation, either with camping, priced at £84 for students and £104 for a standard ticket, or with a caravan which is £99 for students and £119 for standard tickets. Camping includes toilets and showers and the caravan tickets require groups of 4, 6 or 8 and a £50 damage deposit for each guest.

Beach Break Live ticket-holders can also get discounted stays at many of the local hotels, hostels and lodges, starting from just £60 for 4 nights.
