Wakestock Festival began life back in 2000, when it simply held as a wakeboard contest with a party in a car park for 800 people. It's now part of the World Wakeboard Series and has a wakeboard 'Pool Gap' that allows the wakeboarders to showcase the sport up on the festival site.

Yesterday a huge host of Wakeboarding talent was announced for the festival, including James Windsor, Brenton Priestly, Mitch Langfield, Scotty Broome, Kaesen Suyderhoud and Lior Sofer. The world class line-up for the Wakestock Rail Europeans, will take to the 200,000 litre pool gap, slap bang in the middle of the festival site.

Wakestock tickets are available now, priced at £135 for a weekend with camping, £110 for a weekend without camping and VIP passes start from £150. Early entry passes for Thursday, car parking passes and camper van passes are also available.
