Alt-J confirm themselves for Glastonbury Festival 2013

Talking at the Brit Awards earlier this week, our 2012 Ones to Watch, Alt-J responded to a question about what they had in store for 2013 with: “Yeah, we're playing Leeds, Reading, Glastonbury, we're playing around Europe as well.”

Jake Bugg, I am Kloot, Wiley, Rodriguez and Rita Ora have all self-confirmed to play Glastonbury Festival, which takes place on Worthy Farm, Somerset from June 26-30 2013.

Dizzee Rascal, Two Door Cinema Club, Fatboy Slim, The XX, The Vaccines and Rufus Wainwright are all strongly rumoured to play the festival this summer. Arctic Monkeys look likely to headline the Friday night on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival 2013.

Today US rapper Nas was named as a headliner for the Sonic Tent in the the newly named 'Silver Hayes' dance village.

Glastonbury confirmed a full line-up announcement for all stages is to be released in April.

All tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2013, estimated to be approximately 140,000 in number, sold out after one hour and 40 minutes last year. A resale date has been confirmed for Sunday 21 April, when a limited number of cancelled tickets will go back on sale.
