The Postal Service, comprising Death Cab For Cutie's Ben Gibbard and Dntel's Jimmy Tamborello, are reuniting for the 10th anniversary of their first and only album, 'Give Up', released back in 2003.

According to Billboard, Sub Pop Records are prepping a deluxe edition of 'Give Up' next month to commemorate the album's 10-year anniversary. The record, which includes hit singles 'Such Great Heights' and 'The District Sleeps Alone', has become Sub Pop's second highest-selling album, next to Nirvana's 'Bleach'.

Billboard said three independent sources have told them the band are to play Coachella Festival, which takes place in California over two consecutive weekends this April. Billboard also reported the band are in discussions with other festivals, adding: "additional dates and festivals are also in the works."

Back in October last year Gibbard told Spinner: "There are no plans to make a second [Postal Servie] record...I can't say that enough."

Coachella takes place annually at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Inland Empire's Coachella Valley. Last year was the first time the festival took place twice, over two consecutive weekends.

Coachella Festival 2013 will take place from April 12-14 and again from April 19-21, with the large majority of the line-up playing both dates. No acts have been officially confirmed for Coachella Festival 2013.

Pre-sale tickets for Coachella Festival have sold out but the final batch of tickets are expected to go on sale shortly. The general access tickets will be priced at $349 (approximately £220)
