The campsite, titled 'Worthy View', is open to ticket-holders only and will include a range of pre-erected off-site camping facilities for at least 4,000 people for the 2013 Festival, in addition to our onsite tipi area.

According to Glastonbury Festival's official website the new camping area will be a short walk from the Festival site - up the hill above the stone circle and will be run by the Festival team. There will be a variety of tent options, "including a modern twist on the traditional scout tent, bell tents, tipi tents and two person yurts which are being built especially for the Festival".

Michael Eavis said: “It’s really important to me that we offer people the best value accommodation. We don’t want Festival-goers paying through the nose, so we’ve decided to offer some cracking off-site camping ourselves, very close to the main site.”

A number of the options have already sold-out but remaining options are available here.

No acts have been officially confirmed for the Glastonbury Festival line-up but rumoured acts to feature include Jake Bugg, Editors, The XX and Professor Green.

The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac and Kings of Leon have all been rumoured to headline the festival which takes place on Worthy Farm, Somerset from June 26-30 in 2013. Insider tips received by Virtual Festivals support a headline set from Fleetwood Mac in 2013.

Tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2013, estimated to be in the range of approximately 140,000, sold out in one hour 40 minutes last year. A resale date has yet to be confirmed but will take place at some point in in April.
