Scottish RnB star Emeli Sande and London folk-rocker Ben Howard have both been added to the bill following impressive breakthrough years for them both.

Newton Faulkner, Kids In Glass Houses, Palma Violets and Young Guns were also announced to perform at the three day festival on the island.

Isle of Wight Festival 2013 takes place from 13-16 June at Seaclose Park, Newport and will also feature new additions Lianne Le Havas, The Blockheads, Levellers and Tracer.

Manchester alt-rock legends The Stone Roses have already been confirmed to headline the festival as their 2012 reunion tour extends into 2013. They will top the festival along with fellow headliners Bon Jovi and The Killers.

Other acts already confirmed to play Isle of Wight 2013 include Jake Bugg, The Script, Fun, Paloma Faith, The Maccabees and Ellie Goulding.

After flooding caused severe traffic congestion at the festival in the summer, it was unclear whether Isle of Wight would continue at its current location, but after a license review, the organisers have been given the go-ahead to host the event at its existing site.

Isle of Wight Festival tickets are on sale now, and are priced at £185 plus booking fee for an adult weekend ticket.
