The project is set to be an addition to their other pursuits, which include a zine, mobile app and art exhibition. The events are scheduled to take place at the following locations:

May 5 at Jardim da Torres de Belém in Lisbon, Portugal
May 18 at Spreepark in Berlin, Germany
June 23 at Osterley Park & House in London

In a press release, The XX said: "We searched high and low for unique and beautiful locations to stage these shows and picked the artists that we most respect and admire to join us. The events will run from early afternoon, with some of our favourite music (and food) to take you from day into night."

Night + Day festival tickets are priced as follows:

Osterley Park, London - £48.50 plus booking fee
Spreepark, Berlin - 49 euros plus booking fee
Jardim da Torres de Belem, Lisbon - 49 euros plus booking fee

Tickets go on sale this Friday (December 14) at 9am local time. There will be a pre-sale from 10am on Thursday (December 13) for subscribers to The XX mailing list. Sign up before 8pm tomorrow to receive a unique code for access to these early tickets.
