The annual music and wakeboarding festival, which takes place in Cardigan Bay, North Wales, will now be held between 12 – 14 July 2013, the hope being that more school leavers would be able to attend these dates as a celebration.

In another youth friendly move, the minimum age for Wakestock attendees has been lowered from 16 to 12 (although 12 - 16 year olds will need to be accompanied by an adult).

The news coincides with the release of early bird tickets, which will be up for grabs this coming Friday (December 7th) at 9am, with the price frozen until the entire batch of early tickets have sold out.
Wakestock 2012 saw the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Ed Sheeran and Calvin Harris this summer, and was a success with fans, overcoming British weather conditions. The first acts on the 2013 line-up will be announced shortly.
Wakestock 2013 tickets go on sale this Friday 7th December, and will be priced at £125 plus booking fee for an early bird weekend camping ticket. Weekend Wakestock tickets without camping are priced at £100 plus booking fee.
