Guildfest: The Festival formerly known as Guildford live

Last years festival saw stunning performances by Pulp, James and Catatonia who captivated the audience in the lush greenery of Stoke Park. This year GUILFEST is back and is set to continue the festival's excellent reputation by combining top acts with a host of varied attractions in order to create that all-important buzzing festival atmosphere.
Guilfest 2002 features 4 stages - the Main Stage, the
Tropical Dance Tent, the Acoustic Stage and the Unsung Heroes Stage, providing
the diverse range of artists for which the festival is so famous. ) in addition to this you can check out the line up at the
Buskers Marquee or have a laugh at the Comedy Tent. The Unsung Hero's stage permits
any up-and-coming artist or band to perform for 15 minutes!
With the emphasis on entertainment for all the family,
there is a craft village and a children's area, which includes jugglers, circus area, rides and workshops as well as the children's
carnival. The celebrated luxury toilets are provided again this year and there are full camping facilities. Off site there
is the nearby lido and the Guildford Spectrum indoor leisure complex.
