New acts confirmed for Eurosonic Noorderslag 2013

London based musical duo Public Service Broadcasting, Glaswegian electro-pop trio Chvrches and soul-rock Parma Violets have all been added to the line-up, which already features Jake Bugg.

Eurosonic Noorderslag takes place in the Dutch city of Groningen from 9-12 January 2013.

Adrian Crowley (IE), Agent Side Grinder (SE), Baby Guru (GR), Broken Twin (DK), Compuphonic (BE), Concrete Knives (FR), Fenster (DE), Jupiter (FR), Kadavar (DE), Leslie Clio (DE) and Lukas Graham (DK) have also been added to the Eurosonic line-up.

(DK), Oscar and the Wolf (BE), Pascal Pinon (IS), Public Service Broadcasting (UK), Sarah Ferri (BE), Shaka Ponk (FR), Talbot (EE), The Royal Concept (SE) and We Butter the Bread with Butter (DE) have also been added to the Eurosonic 2013 line-up.

The event in 2013 will feature a focus on Finland across Eurosonic Noorderslag, and a total of 16 Finnish acts will appear, including Acid Symphony Orchestra, Death Hawks, Eva & Manu, Lau Nau and LCMDF.

Blood Red Shoes, Digitalism, Dry the River, Emeli Sande, FM Belfast, Jessie Ware and Franz Ferdinand have all previously featured as part of the Eurosonic.

This year a total of 33,000 people attended Eurosonic Noorderslag, which took place across 34 venues, hosting 293 acts from more than 40 nationalities.
