2012 Reading and Leeds Festival headliners Kasabian formed in 1997 and now have four hit studio albums to their name, and a splattering of top ten charting singles, including 'Fire', 'Empire' and 'Cutt Off'.

Snowbombing 2013 takes place from 1-6 April in the Austrian village of Mayrhofen, which features 639km of piste, 14 venues and a festival crowd of just over 5,000 people.

Example will return to the festival once again, this year to play the 'Forest Party' which in the past has featured the likes of The Prodigy and Dizzee Rascal. The electro-rap chart-topper seemed excited by the return invite and had this to say: “I don't just come to Snowbombing on the day of the gig. I come for the week. Still the best party of the year for me - unrivalled location. I’ve got the added excitement of playing the forest this year!”

East London quartet Rudimental, UK rap star Foreign Beggars, dub-step MC P Money and scene queen Ms. Dynamite have also been added to the 2013 edition of Snowbombing.

Carl Cox was amongst the first DJ names announced for the festival last week, alongside Andy C, Skream and Shy FX, amongst others.

Snowbombing founder Gareth Cooper said: “One of the world’s best live bands playing in a small Austrian village is what Snowbombing is all about; delivering a unique, intimate festival experience in amazing surroundings and venues.”

Snowbombing ticket prices start from £319, which includes five nights of accommodation and access to a week of live entertainment.
