Depeche Mode announce European festival dates

Essex electronic outfit Depeche Mode have announced a string of 2013 live shows, including a handful of European festivals.

The band, formed in Basildon in 1980, last toured in 2010, playing Wireless Festival in 2009, and return to the road next year in support of their 13th album, expected to be released in April 2013.

The band will play a one-off UK show at London's O2 Arena on Tuesday 28th May. The o2 Arena date will be part of a 34 date tour that will start in Tel Aviv and features stop-offs at the Rock Werchter Festival in Belgium (July 7), BBK Festival in Spain (July 11) and Optimus Alive Festival in Portugal (July 13).
