The Nottingham troubadour, whose self-titled debut album is out next week, is one of the initial names selected by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) for the Dutch festival, which takes place in the city of Groningen from 9-12 January.
With a conference by day and the best new European acts by night, 2013 will see the event return for a 27th year, with over 200 acts set to appear over the course of the festival.
