Weather Watch: Festival No.6
Forecast for Portmeirion this weekend

Chris Swindells - 12 September 2012
Thursday night will be dry by largely overcast at the North Welsh coastal town where the inaugural Festival
No.6 will take place. Temperatures are forecast to hit a mild 16°C high but won't drop by much at night, though
winds will pick up over night and there's a slight risk of rain.
Friday should be brighter with
winds easing up as the day goes on, though light, patchy rain is still a risk.
The rain should hold off through
Saturday but the whole event will be chillier, predicted hitting a modest high of 15°C.
Sunday is the only day with rainfall predicted, though this should ease into the evening, with temperatures
increasing again to around 17°C. Festival-goers should then have good weather Monday morning as they pack up
to make the final shuttle bus out of the campsite at midday!
All weather forecasts are based on BBC Weather outlooks.
The event takes place in Portmeirion, famous
for being the set of cult 60’s TV show ‘The Prisoner’, will feature New Order, Primal Scream and Spiritualized headlining the three day event.
