After a
busy Summer festival schedule, including fantastic performances at Glastonbury and T In The
Park, Alison Goldfrapp
has been advised by doctors to cancel all forthcoming dates.
The band pulled out of last weekend's Pukkelpop festival in Belgium and will now miss Creamfields as well. They said they very much regret not being able to play the dates and have apologised to fans for any disappointment or inconvenience.
Alison said:
"We are very sorry to have to cancel the shows in Belgium and Liverpool. We've had a fantastic time touring the Black
Cherry album for the last year and a half, but due to exhaustion the doctor has advised me to rest for at least four weeks.
We'd like to thank everybody around the world who came to see us. I hope that I haven't disappointed too many people and I
hope to make up for it next year"
Creamfields takes place on Saturday, 28th August, at Speke Airport, Liverpool.
