Maverick Sabre to headline G-Fest 2012
The cream of UK urban talent set to play Preston event

The one-day event will take place in Preston’s Avenham Park on Saturday 8 September, with Maverick Sabre set to continue a stellar year, with numerous festival appearances and a Number 2 Album with debut ‘Lonely Are The Brave’, by topping the bill.
‘Earthquake’ hitmaker Labrinth is also on the bill, as are former N-Dubz mainman Dappy and girlband Stooshe, who cracked the Top 3 with the current single ‘Black Heart’.
Also on the line-up are Clement Marfo & The Frontline, who’ve just made their own chart debut with ‘Champion’, with festival favourites The Milk and Irish hip-hop freestylers Abandoman completing the bill.
G-Fest tickets are onsale now, priced at £18 until 23 August, when the price will rise to £23.

Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult, and children under 2 years old will be admitted free.
The world’s only year-long festival, Preston Guild takes place once every 20 years, the only Guild still celebrated in the UK, having been in existence for 800 years.
G-Fest takes place during ten days of sporting and cultural events as part of the festival.
