Bestival 2012 announces Rizlab and Arcadia Stage line-ups
Plus local 'Barter For Bestival' initiative launched

On Saturday (8 September), Ninja Tune’s day boasts headline sets from Bonobo, Toddla T, Coldcut, Raf Daddy from The 2 Bears and Actress, with Ninja Tune DJs performing ahead of appearances by Raffertie, Slugabed and FaltyDL.
Big Dada’s Sunday (9 September) line-up will feature headline performances from EL-P and Sticky, plus Roots Manuva and the Banana Klan Soundsystem, Beak> and a collaborative Dels and Kwesachu performance.
Full details of Project 4, which will “culminate in an exclusive hi-tech headline performance on the RizLab stage on Friday night”, will be announced soon.
Arcadia will also return to Bestival, with Arcadia’s Mechanical Cabaret, a production made especially for the festival, featuring DJ sets from The Ratpack, Congo Natty, Foamo, Slamboree, JFB, Slipmatt, Stanton Warriors, Kissy Sell Out, Hybrid (History Of Hybrid Set), Smerin DJ set, Eats Everything (Dirty Bird), Asbo Disco, DJ Die & Mc Inja, festival mainman Rob da Bank, Wonka, Bertie, Shepdog and Heatwave.
The festival has also teamed up with RockCorps for the Barter For Bestival initiative, which will see
50 camping tickets given to local festivalgoers who agree to take part in a project to create a sustainable allotment at the
Isobel Centre, a community centre at Furrlongs, Pan.
Volunteers are asked to arrive in Bestival’s wildlife-themed fancy dress and bring something to barter with, and to be prepared to work for at least four hours on Wednesday 5 September.

Stevie Wonder, Florence & The Machine and New Order are this year’s Bestival headliners, with the likes of The XX, Sigur Ros, Friendly Fires, Justice, Two Door Cinema Club, Hot Chip, Gary Numan, Orbital, Azealia Banks, Ben Howard, Alabama Shakes and Nero among those also on the bill this year.
