The comedian, who currently hosts Opinionated and Room 101 on the BBC as well as Absolute Radio’s Saturday breakfast show, will be “in conversation” in the Greenbelt Big Top on Saturday 25 August.
Other set to appear at the festival include Scottish rockers and festival favourites The Proclaimers, plus Nitin Sawnhey, The Leisure Society, Jose Vanders, American soloist Abigail Washburn, In Case Of Fire, folk duo Megson, Rachel Sermanni, Luke Leighfield and Tom & Olly.
Bellowhead, Seth Lakeman, Speech Debelle, Asian Dub Foundation, Bruce Cockburn, Charlie Simpson, Josh Osho, Bellowhead, Seth Lakeman and Speech Debelle are among others previously confirmed to play the festival, which takes place at Cheltenham Racecourse from 24-27 August.
Other speakers this year include Peter Tatchell, The School of Life’s Roman Krznaric, Campaigns Director of 38 Degrees, Hannah Lansborough, Guardian columnist and writer Erwin James, Israeli journalist Gideon Levy, contributing editor at Q-News Abdul-Rehman Malik and former bishop of Durham Tom Wright, while BBC Radio 4's Any Questions will be aired live from the festival on Friday 24 August.
Greenbelt tickets are onsale now, with Adult Weekend Tickets priced at £120 (plus booking fee), with Under-18 tickets (5-17 years), priced at £65. Under 5’s go free.
