Those arriving at Secret Garden Party today should get a dry, if overcast start, and it should generally stay clear tonight, with the possibility of a few showers in the very late evening, though these should pass fairly quickly.
Friday morning and afternoon will see showers, with a real risk of some turning heavy around lunchtime. There should be a few sunnier spells towards the evening, giving way to a dry night. Light winds are predicted, but it’ll be fairly warm at 15C.
Saturday will start sunny but it’ll cloud over by midday. There’s a vague risk of some showers in the afternoon, but it’ll mostly just be cloudy with sunny spells, with temperatures at 20C. The evening will be dry with a gentle breeze.
The cloud will finally disperse for a warm, dry and clear Sunday afternoon and evenings to round things off, with temperatures set to peak at 23C.
A dry Thursday night at Truck will turn to showers interspersed with sunny spells on Friday morning at Truck, which, save for some respite at lunchtime, will set the tone for the day, with things not clearing until the late evening, though Mystery Jets fans may well to see their favourites without getting rained on. Tempertures should reach 17C. Happily for those camping, it’ll be a dry night.
That’ll continue into Saturday, when it’ll be mostly cloudy, although with sunny spells. It should be a warm day, with temperatures peaking at 19C in the late afternoon, and a rain –free evening for The Temper Trap’s closing set.
At Tramlines in Sheffield, Friday’s bright start will turn to scattered showers in the evening. Saturday should be dry with cloud lifting in the mid-afternoon to leave sunny rest of the day, and temperatures reaching 20C. Sunday, meanwhile will be dry and bright initially but strengthening winds will bring cloudier skies later, with the night bringing a small risk of rain.
