Malefice for Bloodstock Open Air 2012

The Brit metallers complete the Ronnie James Dio Stage line-up...

The Reading metallers are the final act to be announced for the Ronnie James Dio stage, and will open the stage on the Friday of the festival.

Organisers have said that details of another stage, the Jagermeister Acoustic Stage, will be revealed next week.

Meanwhile, voting for Machine Head’s set is still open, with fans now able to pick five songs from the band’s debut album ‘Burn My Eyes’ via a Facebook poll. The band will perform the five most popular tracks during their headline set on Saturday 11 August.

They join fellow headliners Behemoth and Alice Cooper on the Bloodstock Open Air line-up, as well as the likes of Testament, Dimmu Borgir, Paradise Lost, Anvil, Watain, Hatebreed and Corrosion of Conformity.

Bloodstock Open Air 2012 will take place at Catton Hall, Derbyshire on 9-12 August.
