T in the Park Line-up: more names added

Just when you thought that Line-up could not get any better, it just did!

It is safe to say that there is no other band like Polyphonic Spree in the world today, and the sight of 23 plus figures dressed in white cassocks on the Main Stage this year will have to be seen to be believed by the Balado crowds. They are, in their own words, a "23 man and woman choral symphonic pop band", constantly evolving and adding new members and contributors. Mixing the choral power of 23 voices with a pop sensibility that would impress The Beach Boys, Polyphonic Spree are at turns both high art and pure West Coast circa 1966. A live experience in the truest sense of the phrase, this is one band not to miss on Saturday.

The Coral also join this year's T in the Park bill, bringing their energetic sounds to the King Tut's Tent on Saturday. With a youthful enthusiasm and a gifted musical cohesion that's well beyond their years, their inspirational live shows make a welcome addition to an already exciting line-up. Glasgow's own Ashton Lane will now open the stage on the same day. Joining the Tut's Tent on Sunday, are The Shining, the brainchild of ex-Verve members Simon Jones and Simon Tong.

Please also note that the Leaves will now play on Saturday in the King Tut's Tent, and not Sunday as previously advertised. The Coral will also now play immediately before Badly Drawn Boy.
It seems that Primal Scream are not just a firm T in the Park favourite with the crowds, but also with the bands themselves. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club want to see their set so much they asked that they could play earlier in the day to make sure they catch the gig!
