Nicki Minaj 'threw a complete strop' at T In The Park

Chris Eustace - 10 July 2012

Minaj was nearly an hour late in taking to the stage at the Scottish festival, which took place last weekend in Balado, near Kinross, in the end playing for just 25 minutes before Swedish House Mafia’s set.

Amid reports of the rapper and her crew behaving disrespectfully backstage, The Sun today quoted a ‘source’ as saying: “Nicki went off on one about the grass around her area, saying it was far too long for her to walk on. She threw a complete strop, pouting and pointing and asking someone to get a lawnmower to sort it out.”

Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls, who were on before Minaj, took to Twitter to register their displeasure at Minaj’s antics, with Turner saying: “Nicki Minaj has been being a total selfish shithead to all the hardworking crew backstage at T. Pathetic. Fuck off. You can (I suppose) be a dick to your own crew, you're paying them. But everyone else? And not to mention the people out front. Ugh”, later posting a blog to clarify his comments.
