Kendal Calling 2012 sells out

With all tickets going in record time, Organisers Ben Robinson and Andy Smith said: "We're overwhelmed by the continued support for Kendal Calling. We can't wait to be back in the fields for our 7th sell-out year. Plus there's so much more to be announced for festival goers to enjoy. It's going to be the best year yet!"
With this year’s fancy dress theme confirmed as ‘comic books and fairy tales‘, further artist additions will be announced next week, with a new acts set to take to the Calling Out stage and the full line ups for the Houseparty, Soapbox and Forest stages set to be revealed.
Kendal Calling 2012 takes place from Friday 27 - Sunday 29 July at Lowther Deer Park, Hackthorpe, in East Cumbria, with eleven diverse stages and areas, including the new Woodland area and theTim Peaks Diner with Tim Burgess of The Charlatans.
As previously reported, Maximo Park, Dizzee Rascal and James will headline the festival this year.
We Are Scientists, The View, Tribes, VF
Ones To Watch Spector, Toddla T, Mosca, Jaymo and Andy George, Toy and King Charles
are some of the other acts set to play this year’s event.
