New acts for Guilfest 2012

Sunday will see The Wonder Stuff play an acoustic set on The Good Time Guide Stage, with Reggae Reggae sauce creator Levi Roots on The Vive Le Rock Stage and Elvis and Friends, from hit touring show 'Rock N' Roll Paradise' on the Main Stage.

Other acts added to the line-up include Black Spiders, Goldblade, Ben Montague, Devil Sold His Soul, Invaders, Charley Farley Sunday Four, Nell Bryden, Pint Shot Riot, Street 13, Ahab and GuilFest regulars the Rock Choir.

Meanwhile, childrens area The Kidzone will feature children's theatre, plus appearances from Postman Pat and Jess the Cat on Sunday, and Zak and Panzee from the Zingzillas on Saturday, with theatre, circus workshops, special performances, balloon makers, costume making and a Sunday festival parade all promised.

Jools Holland & His Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, Olly Murs and Bryan Ferry headline this year’s event, with the likes of Tulisa, Tim Minchin, Jimmy Cliff and Chic feat. Nile Rodgers also on the Guilfest line-up.

Other acts set to play include Ash, Candi Staton, Young Guns, X Factor sensation Cher Lloyd, electronic music pioneer Gary Numan, Nouvelle Vague, Skindred and The Straits, who were formed by former members of Dire Straits.

Adult weekend camping tickets are priced at £135.50 (including booking fee plus a £6 transaction fee), while child weekend camping tickets are available for £83.50 (including booking fee plus a £6 transaction fee).
