VF Ones To Watch Spector, who release their debut album ‘Enjoy It While It Lasts’ in August, and hotly-tipped Nottingham singer/songwriter Jake Bugg, currently making waves on the radio with new single ‘Lightning Bolt’, will join the previously announced Dry the River at the Oxford event.
The former VF guest editors released their debut album, ‘Shallow Bed’ earlier this year, cracking the Top 30 on release, and are set for a bumper year of festivals.
With its focus on new talent, Gathering will take over various venues in and around Oxford’s Cowley Road, and the festival will see bands play at the O2 Academy Oxford, East Oxford Community Centre, Port Mahon, The Bullingdon and Cowley Road Methodist Church on Saturday 20 October.
Other much-touted acts Bastille, Peace, Nina Nesbitt, Hey Sholay and local talent Lewis Watson are also set to play, with many more artists set to be added in the coming weeks.
Gathering Festival tickets are on sale now, priced at £15.
