Beacons Festival have announced reggae all-stars, Toots and the Maytals  Sunday's headliner on the festival's Stool Pigeon stage.

Legends in the worlds of reggae, ska and roots music, Toots and the Maytals started releasing records from their base in Kingston, Jamaica in the early 1960s, working with the likes of Prince Buster, getting their first major hit, ‘Monkey Man’ in 1970.

Mercury Award nominees, Wild Beasts are headlining Beacons Festival 2012. The line-up already features Roots Manuva, Patrick Wolf, Junior Boys, Ghostpoet, Factory Floor, Jessie Ware, Cass McCombs, Willy Mason, Errors and Frankie & The Heartstrings.

The Felice Brothers, Julio Bashmore and Real Estate were recently added to the bill.

Beacons tickets for 2012 are priced as follows:

Early bird tickets are now sold out. Limited tickets are currently priced at £74.50 and then full price tickets will be £84.50.
