Leefest 2012 announces new dance acts

Friction & Linguistcs, Jakwob and Raf Daddy will play, while Urban Nerds will occupy the LeeFest big top for an evening presenting Dismantle, Marcus Nasty featuring Rankin, and Rattus Rattus, with Sai, Hatesy, and Jesse James also confirmed.

They join headliners Mystery Jets, plus Summer Camp, Slow Club, Ghostpoet, Bastille, The Skints, Man Like Me (live), Casiokids, Sound of Guns, FOE, Seye, Lets Buy Happiness, By The Rivers, Fever Fever, Ill Murray, The Brownies, Grand Pocket Orchestra, The Title Sequence, Bwani Junction, Josh Beech & the Johns and Bonfire Nights.

Hella Better Dancer, Youth Imperial, Santiago Street Machine, Van Susans, Red Lapels, Aaron Delahunty, Colour Clouds, Sea Stacks, Matt Emery, We Were Evergreen, Big Kids, To Kill A King, Public Service Broadcasting, Tom Williams and the Boat, Broken Hands and Lion will also appear.

The 2,000 capacity homegrown festival is run by Lee Denny and a small team of friends from Bromley, Kent. Denny has some surprises in store this year: “We’ve been concentrating on new collaborations with individuals and collectives to make the festival even more diverse and creative. Everything is secret at the moment but it’s going to be raucous onsite!”

LeeFest 2012 will take place at Highams Hill Farm in Warlingham, Surrey from 29-30 June.
