I Am I and Benediction new for Bloodstock Open Air 2012

Birmingham death metallers Benediction are also new, returning to play the festival for a third time.

Both acts will play the Ronnie James Dio Stage on Saturday 11 August.

They join headliners Behemoth and Alice Cooper on the Bloodstock Open Air line up as well as the likes of Testament, Dimmu Borgir, Paradise Lost, Anvil, Watain, Hatebreed and Corrosion of Conformity.

More bands are expected to be announced, including a third headliner, who will be revealed on Wednesday 6 June at 6pm.

Bloodstock Open Air 2012 will take place at Catton Hall, Derbyshire on 9-12 August.
