New venue to be announced soon

Eastern Electrics festival has announced that it is no longer taking place in its original venue. Pride
House, in London's Clapham Common, is no longer available, so the search is on for a new home for the festival.
The
organisers of Eastern Electrics festival issued a short statement:
'Our beloved Eastern Electrics
Festival debut was due to take place on Clapham Common as part of a long run of special one-off events celebrating the Olympics,
called Pride House.
We've received the unfortunate news that Pride House will no longer be going ahead and despite
selling over 50% of our 17,000 allocation of tickets, Eastern Electrics has today found itself homeless.
After
many years of running some of London's most adventurous warehouse parties in the city's greatest spaces, we are very used
to the challenges of finding the best space to showcase the music we love.
Existing tickets will of course still
be valid at the new location. EE0408 is about to get better. The show will go on!'
Acts announced for Eastern Electrics 2012 include: Joy Orbison, Crazy P, 2020 Soundsystem, Nina Kraviz and Julio Bashmore.
