RockNess 2012 comedy line-up announced

The Scottish festival, which takes place in Loch Ness on 8-10 June, has added a raft of performers to join the previously announced comedy headliner Tim Minchin, who plays on the festival’s final day (10 June).

Daniel Sloss, Des Clarke, The Reverend Obidiah Steppenwolf, Billy Kirkwood, Benny Boot, Marty Mclean, Ro Campbell, Scott Agnew, Mark Nelson, Parrot, Alan Anderson, Kai Humphries, Chris Henry, Darren Connell and James Kirk are all newly confirmed.

Jamie Dalglish, Vocal Point, Mikey Adams, John Gavin, Scott Gibson, Chloe Philip, Ray Bradshaw, John Walker, Stuart Mitchell, Eddie Cassidy, Anna Devitt, Neil Wee Man Bratchpiece and David Bratchpiece complete the line-up.

Mumford And Sons, Justice, Deadmau5 and Biffy Clyro are this year's musical headliners.

Day tickets are also now available, priced at £59 for Friday, with Saturday and Sunday day tickets costing £64 each.

Organisers have also unveiled The RockNess Express - a specially chartered train that will depart from London Euston, picking up festival goers at Birmingham, Derby, York and Newcastle, before delivering the festival-goers to their final destination of Inverness.
