Blissfields 2012 reveals new acts

Guillemots, Theme Park, Dog Is Dead and more...

Guillemots, Clock Opera, Theme Park, Eugene McGuinness, Toy, Dog Is Dead, and Citizens! are now confirmed to play the event, which celebrates its 12th anniversary this year.

Josh Kumra, who guested on Wretch 32’s Number One single ‘Don’t Go’ last year, is also new, along with NZCA/Lines, Pete Roe, SixNationState, Wave Pictures, Dog Is Dead, paradYse and DJ sets by Artrocker and Transgressive Records.

Comedian Phil Ellis will play too, as will Flashfires, Half Crown, and Ben Goddard & The Heartbeats - the first winners of the festival’s regional talent search Road To Blissfields.

As previously reported, Noisettes will headline the Saturday night, while Patrick Wolf will play an acoustic set, complete with grand piano.

Among those set to join them are VF Ones to Watch Spector, Lucy Rose, Man Like Me, Dreadzone, Cashier No.9 and Charli XCX.

Toddla T, Crazy P, Passenger, AlunaGeorge and Skinny Lister will all play the Second Stage.

More acts, including more headliners, are expected to be announced soon.

Blissfields Festival 2012 takes place at The Park, Woodmancott, Hampshire, from 29 June - 1 July.
