United Kingdom | |
29 July 2004
The party is set to continue well into the week, and far beyond, after organisers told VF about their
plans to bring the festival's unique spirit to London.
The concept bar will feature Big Chill
favourites on the decks and occasional live acts, offering a laid back vibe for the city's chillers.
It's
name and location are currently unknown but details should be announced here later today.
A spokesman for Big Chill told us: "It's
looking great and is going to be a lovely place to go for a drink to unwind. We have always wanted to do this and it seemed
like the perfect time. It will be really comfortable with loads of cushions, incorporating the whole Big Chill vibe."
The
Big Chill 2004 takes place this weekend between 30th July and 1st August at Eastnor Castle,
in Herefordshire.
Lemon Jelly, Coldcut and Mr Scruff are
just some of the many acts playing.

The event promises to be one of the best yet, with forecasters predicting
one of the hottest weekend's of the summer coming at the end of one of the worst July's on record.
The event is
sold out, so those without tickets will just have to wait until the new bar is open next week to get a taste of the Big
Chill magic!
