Barclaycard Wireless Festival adds new acts

Hyde Park's favourite festival gets bigger

A new set of artists have just been added to Barclaycard Wireless Festival's 2012 line-up. Afrojack, The Roots, Santigold, Metric, Rita Ora and Lloyd are some of those joining headliners Deadmau5 (Friday), Drake, (Saturday) and Rihanna (Sunday).

Dutch music producer Afrojack, Grammy award-winning soulsters The Roots, Toronto synth-pop stars Metric, superstar-in-the-making Santigold and Toronto electric duo Zeds Dead are all joining Deadmau5 on the Friday.

Rita Ora, Hilltop Hoods, Koan Sound and AlunaGeorge will all play on the Saturday, which is to be headlined by Drake. Lloyd, Far East Movement, Doctor P and Kreayshawn join Sunday’s bill, headlined by superstar Rihanna.

Calvin Harris, Example, Nicki Minaj, Nero, Professor Green, Jessie J, J.Cole, Rizzle Kicks, Tulisa, Cher Lloyd, Flux Pavillion, Labrinth, Pitbull, D’Banj, Madeon, A$AP Rocky and Wiz Khalifa are among other acts already confirmed to play across the weekend.

Barclaycard Wireless Festival 2012 takes place in Hyde Park, London from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th July 2012.

Wireless Festival tickets for Friday 6 July (Deadmau5 headline day) are priced at £49.50 (plus booking fee), with tickets for Saturday 7 July (Drake headline day) also priced at £49.50 plus booking fee.

Tickets for Sunday 8 July (Rihanna headline day) are now sold out.
