Camp Bestival have added new musical acts to its 2012 line-up, including retro rock'n'roll sibling trio, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, such favourites at Camp Bestival that festival organiser Rob Da Bank refers to them as "practically family".

Other musical additions include folky five-piece, Skinny Lister, soulsters Vintage Trouble as well as To Kill A King, Gecko, Jamie N Commons, L.A. Salami, The Slow Show, Police Dog Hogan, Clint Westwood and Vlad.

Also new to the line-up, The Nextmen will be bringing reggae-infused hip-hop to Lulworth Castle, as will Breakage, Reggae Roast and Sombrero Sound System.

As well as the new musical announcements, Camp Bestival have introduced a line-up of literary, spoken-word and discussion events. Before he takes to the stage with his Chic, Nile Rodgers will be interviewed and signing copies of his autobiography, while Matthew Horne will be telling everyone 'How to be a Little Bit Funny'.

Food writer Stefan Gates will be sharing tales from his 'Cooking in the Danger Zone' while Professor Tanya Bryon will be advising the audience 'How To Parent Your Own Way'. Richard Reynolds will be the green-fingered gardening tips while Rhodri Marsden will be giving out a different sort of advice in his Crap Dates Workshop'.

The RSA will be hosting a series of panel discussions while ideas experts The School Of Life will be bringing their brand of practical philosophy. The Tate will host a series of arts events while in the literary arena, spoken word supremos including Paul Cree, Bridget Minamore, Indigo Williams and Anna Freeman will be inspiring with their lyrical outpourings. And if that hasn't exhausted you, funny man Russell Kane is reading from his new book, The Humourist.

Last week, Camp Bestival announced an Olympics theme for 2012. They will be screening the opening ceremony, all the sporting events throughout the weekend as well as hosting their own 'Silly Sportsday' events.

The entertainment line-up for Camp Bestival 2012 includes: Kool & the Gang, Happy Mondays, Hot Chip, Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, Mr. Tumble, The Gruffalo, Shrek and Jimmy Carr.

Camp Bestival 2012 takes place at Lulworth Castle, Dorset on 26th - 29th July 2012.
