Comedy Line-up announced for Green Man Festival 2012

Adam Buxton heads the first announcements for the comedy line-up at Green Man Festival 2012.

Playing in the Far Out tent on Thursday of the festival to open proceedings, Buxton will present ‘The Best Of Bug: The Evolution Of The Music Video’, promising the highlights from his bi-monthly London BFI Southbank show.

The Comedy Tent will run from 7pm – 2am each evening, and The Rubberbandits, Zoe Lyons, Robin Ince, Holly Walsh, Mike Wozniak, Mark Allen, Behemoth, Delete The Banjax, Brian Gittins, Henry Paker, Edward Aczel, John-Luke Roberts, Mark Olver and Michael Fabbri complete the list initial list of comedians confirmed for the event.

Green Man Festival 2012 takes place in Glanusk Park, Usk Valley, Powys, in Wales from 17-19 August 2012.

On the music side of things, Feist is confirmed to headline one of the nights at the event, with the likes of The Walkmen, Slow Club, Ghostpoet, Michael Kiwanuka, Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks, tUnE-yArDs, and Of Montreal also set to play.

More acts, including two more headliners are expected to be announced soon.

Green Man Festival tickets are on sale now priced at £145 (plus booking fee) for a weekend camping ticket.

Student, teen and child tickets are also available as well as holiday tickets, which allow festival-goers to camp three days ahead of the event beginning.
