BBC Radio 1's Hackney Weekend takes place from 23 - 24 June, and will welcome 100,000 people to Hackney Marshes, East London. 25,000 free tickets for the event will be made available to those who registered and uploaded a photo to the Hackney Weekend website from 4pm today.

The first allocation of tickets went on sale yesterday morning, with frustrated fans taking to Twitter to voice their frustration when the website initially struggled to deal with demand, with tickets for anyone living outside of Hackney selling out inside two hours.

There are still tickets available from the first allocation for Hackney residents only.

As with the first sale, a proportion of the second run of tickets will be reserved for those from the London Borough of Hackney and the other five Olympic boroughs; Barking and Dagenham, Greenwich, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest, with 35% made available to those living in the rest of the UK.

Jay-Z will top the Saturday (June 23) bill, which also includes the likes of Ed Sheeran, Florence & The Machine, Swedish House Mafia, Example and Jack White.

Rihanna headlines on Sunday (June 24), with Tinie Tempah, Jessie J, Bombay Bicycle Club, Chase & Status and Plan B among the acts set to play too, along with a 'Special Guest'.

BBC Radio 1's Hackney Weekend tickets are free, but all purchases incur a £2.50 booking fee. The 100,000 free tickets will be made available over two periods, the first at 11am tomorrow morning (March 25) and the second Monday 26 March at 4pm. To purchase tickets you have to already been registered, for more information go to the BBC Radio 1 Hackney Weekend website.
